Minutes, not milliseconds
Dwell timeA group arrives at the tee and waits for the fairway to clear – typically three to five minutes, standing next to your sign with nothing else to look at. A passing car gives you two seconds.
More than 24,000 rounds a year are played at Lexden Wood, and every one of them walks all 18 holes. A hole sponsorship is your name in front of that, all year, at the one moment golfers have nothing to do but wait for the group ahead.
Not estimates or impressions bought by the thousand. This is who came through the gate.
Club booking and round data for the 12 months to 18 August 2026, and still climbing – August was our busiest month on record at 103 golfers a day.
Three things local advertising almost never gives you at once.
A group arrives at the tee and waits for the fairway to clear – typically three to five minutes, standing next to your sign with nothing else to look at. A passing car gives you two seconds.
Our members don't come once. They play here week in and week out, right through the season – locals who committed to the area enough to join a club in it. By the time one of them needs what you sell, your name is not an advert they saw, it's a sign they know by heart.
Members are only part of it. More than 4,000 individual visiting golfers played here in the last 12 months, alongside society and corporate groups on full-day visits – so the audience keeps refreshing.
Hole sponsorship is our published package. Everything else we'll price around what you're trying to achieve.
Your business on the tee of your chosen hole for a full year, seen by every round played on the course. The 1st and the 18th go first – the 1st catches everyone at their freshest, the 18th finishes in front of the clubhouse.
Our driving range runs from early morning to late evening, all year, with TrackMan in every bay. It draws a different crowd from the course – families, beginners, groups and after-work sessions – and they stay in one bay for the whole visit.
Put your name on a competition, or on a nearest-the-pin or hole-in-one prize. Competitions end in a prize-giving with everyone in the clubhouse, which is a different kind of exposure from a sign.
The clubhouse, The Club Kitchen and the event suite see golfers, society groups, wedding and function guests – a wider audience than the course alone. Talk to us about what would work in the space.
Our own website and screens, which we control directly. We'll be straight with you about what we can and can't offer here rather than promising an audience we haven't measured.
If you have a format in mind that fits a golf club and its members, tell us. We would rather build something that works for your business than sell you a sign that doesn't.
Eighteen holes. One sponsor on each. When a hole is taken, it's taken for the year.
We don't share a hole between businesses, and we won't put a competitor next to you on the same tee. Eighteen holes is the whole inventory.
Sponsorship runs for a year, with a renewal notice before it expires. Existing sponsors get first refusal on their hole.
Pick from whatever is free when you sign. Ask us which holes are available – the 1st and the 18th tend not to stay free for long.
Talk to us about sign artwork, production and installation when you enquire, so we can confirm what's included before you commit.
Tell us about your business and what you're hoping to get out of it. We'll come back with what's available and what it costs.

The best way to pick a hole is to walk it. We're at Bakers Lane, Colchester, Essex, CO3 4AU – come up, and we'll show you what's free.
More than 24,000 rounds a year walk past every one of them. Ask us what's still free.
